Centering: Ensure front wheels are perfectly straight. The new clock spring comes with a centering clip – do NOT remove this clip until the clock spring is fully installed and the steering wheel is in position. Rotating the clock spring without the clip can damage the internal ribbon cable .

Installation Notes: This 6-pin clock spring is designed for vehicles without steering angle sensor. If re-centering is required, turn the rotor counterclockwise as far as it will go, then clockwise approximately 3.0 turns until marks align .
