⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE & INSTALLATION TIPS

Before Installation: Disconnect the battery negative terminal and wait at least 1 minute for the airbag system capacitor to discharge .

Centering: Ensure front wheels are perfectly straight. The new clock spring comes with a centering clip – do NOT remove this clip until the clock spring is fully installed and the steering wheel is in position. If the clock spring is not properly aligned, the steering wheel may not be able to rotate completely during a turn, and the SIR system may become inoperative .

Installation Steps: Remove the driver airbag module and steering wheel, disconnect the old clock spring and horn terminal connector, install the new clock spring with screws (torque to 3 N·m / 27 lb-in), then reconnect all electrical connections .

Alignment: After installation, turn the clock spring label clockwise to lock, then turn counterclockwise approximately 3 turns to the neutral position with front wheels straight ahead .

Important Notice: Do not turn the steering wheel more than 3.25 turns in either direction, as this may damage the clock spring . Never disassemble the clock spring .

Verification: Please compare connectors and pin configuration with your original part. Provide VIN and photos if unsure.

Post-Installation: After installation, verify horn function and ensure the airbag warning light turns OFF after approximately 4 seconds .
